Naturopathic medicine combines the wisdom of nature with modern science to address the root causes of health concerns and promote optimal well-being. As a naturopathic doctor, I bring a unique perspective with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (along with 15 years of nursing experience) followed by four years of accredited naturopathic medical school. This rigorous education equips me with a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and natural therapies. I am committed to providing evidence-based, personalized care that empowers patients to achieve their health goals.
Without a clear career path in mind, I began my academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University. While completing my degree, my passion for helping others took root, leading me to pursue a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Toronto, where I graduated in 2010.
During my time at U of T, I had the transformative opportunity to volunteer in Ghana, assisting local registered nurses with well-baby checks and spending time at an orphanage. This experience fostered personal growth, gratitude, and a deeper passion for service.
As a registered nurse, I gained invaluable experience in patient care, working in both the ICU and Endoscopy departments. These roles not only enhanced my understanding of complex medical conditions but also ignited my interest in preventative and alternative healing methods.
In 2019, I decided to deepen my expertise in holistic health by enrolling at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, where I graduated in 2023. Today, I bring together my diverse educational background, over 15 years of clinical experience, and a passion for natural healing to empower my patients on their journey to optimal health and well-being.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture uses thin needles at specific points to rebalance the flow of energy, or Qi. This promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports healing. Cupping, another TCM practice, uses suction to stimulate circulation, release toxins, and reduce pain. Together, these therapies address various health concerns, from pain management to overall wellness.
Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are trained to order blood work and functional tests to help diagnose and monitor a variety of health conditions. By analyzing lab results and functional assessments, NDs can gain valuable insights into underlying imbalances, guide treatment plans, and track progress over time. While blood work and functional tests are essential tools for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, they do come with an associated cost, which may vary depending on the tests required.
Herbal medicine and nutraceuticals offer natural, plant-based solutions to support the body’s healing processes and enhance overall wellness. Together, they can help address a wide range of conditions, often with fewer side effects compared to conventional medications.

Naturopathic doctors take a holistic approach to women’s health, addressing conditions like PCOS, dysmenorrhea, stress, and burnout by focusing on root causes and creating personalized treatment plans. For PCOS and dysmenorrhea, this includes balancing hormones, reducing inflammation, and managing symptoms with natural therapies such as herbal medicine and nutrition. Stress and burnout are addressed through strategies like adrenal support, stress-reducing herbs, and lifestyle adjustments, promoting both physical and emotional well-being for lasting health.
Naturopathic medicine offers a proactive approach to managing metabolic syndrome and prediabetes, potentially slowing or halting the progression to type 2 diabetes. By addressing these conditions early, the risk of complications, including organ damage, can be significantly reduced. Through a holistic approach that includes lifestyle modifications, dietary changes, natural supplements, and herbal remedies, naturopathic practitioners work to support metabolic health and maintain balanced blood sugar levels.
As a naturopathic doctor, my area of focus is gastrointestinal health, PCOS, and metabolic health, offering personalized care for individuals seeking optimal health. I also treat a wide range of other conditions, including:
Each treatment plan is tailored to support your unique health goals and improve your quality of life.
